Dear Calvary Chapel Bothell Members,
After 30 years of fruitful ministry, the Lord is bringing Calvary Chapel Bothell into a new season. We are officially announcing that Calvary Chapel Bothell will be coming to a close at the end of this month. Our last Sunday morning service will be on Sunday September 30th at 10:00am at the Northshore Senior Center - 10201 E Riverside Dr, Bothell, WA 98011. Then in the evening on September 30th from 6:30pm-9pm we will gather for a final celebration and farewell at the senior center. You are invited to attend these farewell events and we hope to see you there. It would mean so much if you could make it.
For all those who have been a part of Calvary Chapel Bothell over the years, we want to tell you that we love you and we thank God for you. We are so grateful for your friendship, fellowship, prayers, serving, sacrificing, loving and giving. We could not have done this amazing work without God working through you in such a powerful way. You have been a pillar of blessing at CCB. You are our glory, joy and crown. Only God knows how deep our love for each one of you is. This is a difficult transition, but we trust God’s hand in working all things together for good.
Moving forward, Calvary Chapel Bothell will officially merge with City Calvary Chapel (www.citycalvarychapel.org) located at 15211 15th Ave. NE, Shoreline, WA. October 7th will mark our first Sunday with Pastor John and Melissa Aydelott. We hope some of you will join us at City Calvary.
Also, Cheryl and I are starting a Sunday night Bible study, beginning on Sunday October 7th at Clearview Foursquare Church. This will be every Sunday night from 6:30-8:30pm located at 17210 SR 9 SE Snohomish, WA.
We look forward to what God has for each one of you. He is truly “the Good Shepherd, the Great Shepherd, the Chief Shepherd” (John 10:11, Heb 13:20, I Peter 5:4). Our prayer is that you will get plugged in, connected and grow in a local church. We know that Satan loves to devour isolated sheep and we don’t want that for any of you. We pray that you will grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray you will continue to love, follow and serve Jesus all the days of your life.
It has been our deepest joy to serve the Lord by serving you for the past 30 years. We have built our life on reaching up, reaching out, serving and sending out. It is a legacy we are proud to have been a part of and we thank the Lord for allowing us honor of 30 amazing years in ministry.
